The occupation of DC by the federal government is nothing more than a good old fashioned immigrant round-up. While the talk is about rapists and gang bangers, the reality is about cooks, home health care aides, parents, delivery drivers, carpenters and food service workers. Mercenaries brought in by the federal government have terrorized the population while at the same time being unable to process their catch.
The ICE office in Chantilly is a processing center, where recently arrested migrants are brought to be fingerprinted and given the documents for their deportation. It is an office, with a small holding cell. It is not equipped for the number of people that have been brought in recent weeks. While in the past, we could count on people being released from Chantilly either on bond or to a detention center in a matter of hours, the processing now takes days. People are sleeping on floors without access to clean and adequate food and water.
After the violence of the arrest when these mercenaries speed off with crowds of citizens heckling and screaming at them, they bring their prey to this bland office park where cruelty has been routinized by a system incapable of handling the results of this order from the White House.
May all those involved see justice some day.
