
Bianca Granados

Bianca Granados (she/her/ella) is an Attorney at Benach Pitney Reilly Immigration. Bianca joined Benach Pitney Reilly after serving as an immigration defense attorney at The Bronx Defenders for five and a half years where she provided Padilla consults to clients facing criminal charges in collaboration with criminal defense attorneys, in addition to representing clients with criminal “justice” system contacts in removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and during interviews before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Bianca has experience working with detained and non-detained clients seeking adjustment of status, naturalization, waivers, bond, asylum, humanitarian visas and other forms of relief.
Bianca received her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law. During law school, Bianca served as Editor on the Management Board of CUNY Law Review and was a student attorney for the Immigrant & Non-Citizen Rights Clinic. Bianca also served as Co-President of CUNY Law’s Latin American Students Association. Bianca spent her law school summers interning for the Honorable Chief Judge Margo K. Brodie at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and defending immigrants and non-citizens in Immigration Court removal proceedings through her internship at Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem.
Prior to law school, Bianca worked as Aide to the Honorable Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Bianca received her undergraduate degree from Haverford College.
Bianca is a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. She currently serves on the EOIR Liaison and the Pro Bono & Citizenship Committees with the DC Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
